Biography[]

Years after the events in The Shining, Andrew Pomeroy, an amateur painter, was employed by a magazine to sketch the ruins of the Overlook Hotel. Pomeroy disappeared during the assignment. Later on in 1982, his body was found inside the ruins of the hotel, no one knowing how it was possible.

He was the lover of Annie Wilkes, and was killed by her. Annie Wilkes is the antagonist of Stephen King's novel Misery. Annie drowned him in a bath, and was possibly the one who left his body in the Overlook. She loved him, but killed him, because he was not actually officially hired, and was just hoping a magazine would be interested.
