The Minnesota Opera Company is an opera company who performed the 2016 operatic version of the 1977 Stephen King novel The Shining. The opera is a mixture of the novel and the 1980 Stanley Kubrick film adaptation.
The company's version of The Shining celebrated its world premiere at the Ordway Music Theater in Saint Paul, on May 7, 2016.
