Stuart Ullman describes the apartment, "Living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a small room for your son." The apartment is Room #3.
Spatial anomolies[]
There is a window in both the living room and bedroom. Being that these windows are at a right angle to the bathroom window, the apartment should be placed on a corner of the building's structure. But when we later see an exterior view of the hotel we find that the other windows couldn't exist. The exterior wall extends in both directions. There is also a door leading from the hallway into the Torrance's bedroom. We see the reverse of this door but there are no stairs leading down towards the hall. When Ullman shows the Torrances the apartment they walk up several steps, implying that the apartment is several feet higher than the hallway. A door in the bedroom which possess no stairs leading to the hall is a contradiction to the room's primary entrance.
